Interstate Commerce Operation
Required when operating in interstate commerce in a commercial
vehicle.

FMCSA Requirements
Interstate One Stop Shop. FMCSA requires registration for Motor Carriers that will conduct transport operations across state lines. We help facilitate and complete the filings required.

USDOT Number
Must meet the following criteria:
• You have vehicles that are over 10,000 lbs. (GVWR, GCWR, GVW or GCW)
• You transport between 9 and 15 passengers (including the driver) for compensation, whether direct or indirect.
• You transport 16 or more passengers.
• You haul hazardous materials.

File for Operating Authority: MC, MX, FF Number
In general, companies that do the following are required to have Interstate
Operating Authority (MC number) in addition to a DOT number:
• Transport passengers in interstate commerce (for a fee or other compensation, whether direct or indirect)
• Transport federally regulated commodities owned by others or arranging for their transport, (for a fee or other compensation, in interstate commerce)

BOC3 Process Agent
A Process Agent Service is a United States federal filing that designates legal agents upon which process may be served. It pertains mostly to individuals or companies in the transportation and logistics industry.

United Carrier Registration (UCR) Service
All interstate motor carriers, motor private carriers, leasing companies, brokers, and freight forwarders are required to annually register under the (UCR).

Intrastate Commerce Operation
Some states require individuals and companies that operate commercial motor vehicles in intrastate commerce register their business with the state and pay annual fees.
